Scouts & Schools

We offer field trips to fit almost any budget. Perfect for youth groups, scout troops, day cares, schools and other non-profit, youth organizations. Pottery must be paid for on one ticket. We honor tax exempt certificates.

Cost: $4 per child + the pottery.
We will help you choose pieces within your budget. Field trips are booked for one hour Monday-Friday. We can host up to 30 kids at our studio. If you would like us to come to you, we require a minimum of 20 kids plus a $30 trip fee. If you have multiple classes or don’t want to travel, we will box up your pieces with 6 colors and easy instructions and you can paint at your facility. Just return the pieces to us to be fired and they’re ready for you in one week. Make sure and give us a week’s notice to get your pieces in stock.

Scout Troops: Make sure and request a tour of our kiln room. We will give you a behind the scenes look at the glazing and firing process to help earn your badge. Check with your troop leader for badge requirements. (Siblings or “tagalongs” that come with the troop are eligible to paint at the reduced $4 studio fee!)

Pottery-To Go Box: If you need a bit more time to complete the project, we will pack up a box with 6 colors, brushes, palettes, your choice of pottery and instructions to paint at your place. Just bring the pieces back within a week to be glazed and fired. A week’s notice is requested. $50 deposit at time of pick up, the cost of the pottery plus a $3 per piece firing fee instead of the $4 studio fee.

Off-site field trips: If you’d like us to come to your facility, there’s a $30 trip fee and minimum of 20 painters.
